A light heavyweight bout between Glover Teixeira and Ovince Saint Preux has been set as the UFC Fight Night 73 main event.
The matchup was announced on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight.

Teixeira (22-4) won all of his first five UFC fights, which includes a stoppage over Ryan Bader and a decision over Quinton Jackson, but has found himself winless since September of 2013. Just over a year ago, he challenged Jon Jones for the belt but lost a decision, and most recently found himself being mauled by Phil Davis at UFC 179.
Saint Preux (18-6) has won two in-a-row since dropping a lackluster decision loss to top contender Ryan Bader in Maine last August. In Brazil, he stopped the MMA legend Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua in the first-round, and most recently picked up a TKO win over Patrick Cummins.
UFC Fight Night 73 takes place live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on Aug. 8.
