Top MMA News first announced the fight and MMASucka.com confirmed the news with BFL officials on Thursday afternoon.

Kennedy (7-0) will put his featherweight gold on the line, along with his undefeated record to stake claim as number one 145er in Canada. After a stint in Thailand, “JBC” returned to B.C. to fight in front of his hometown crowd, defeating Andre Da Silva at BFL 32 and most recently stunning Mario Pereira in the main event at BFL 34 in January.

Nelson (6-0) is also looking to keep his record unblemished and bring the BFL gold back home to Ontario. His most recent outing was in May 2014 at Substance Cage Combat 2.0, where he tapped out Ainsley Robinson just 42-seconds into the very first round.

BFL 37 goes down on July 25 from the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam, B.C. Keep it locked to MMASucka.com for more fight announcements in the coming days.
