On Monday afternoon, Rise Management CEO Pat Wilson announced Canadian Light Heavyweight Misha Cirkunov had signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC.
It has been a long time coming for the 28-year-old from Ontario.

“It feels amazing but still a little unreal to know that’s am now a UFC fighter,” Cirkunov told MMASucka.com. “I know I belong here now it’s my chance to prove it”
Cirkunov (9-2) has fought all over Canada, picking up nine victories; seven of which came via first round stoppage. The Latvia born fighter began his professional MMA career in 2010, but was a judo blackbelt prior to that.
No word as to who, where and when Cirkunov will make his UFC debut.
