New 8-Fight contract for Bethe Correia

|

On the eve of biggest fight of her life at UFC 190, Bethe Correia and the UFC have reached a new deal that will see the Women’s Bantamweight title contender fight for Zuffa another eight times.

Undefeated in her 9 professional fights, Correia takes on “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey on August 1st in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She took to Instagram earlier today to announce the news to her masses of loyal fans. After a string of harsh comments directed at the champion Rousey before their long anticipated fight, the news comes as a breath of fresh air.

“Today I am very happy! Through hard work, blood, sweat, punches in the face, and more… I am renewing my contract with UFC for over 8 fights. I can give my fans at least eight fights on the small screen, and follow my life and my camp for another eight fights. I will give my best ever! Oss!” -Correia commented.

After defeating two of Rousey’s teammates in her past two fights, Correia looks to make it a trifecta over the “The Four Horsewomen of MMA” by defeating the Women’s Bantamweight champion on Pay-per-view. In a recent media appearance on “The MMA Hour”, Correia predicted her victory over the champion by knockout. She called Rousey a “farce” and made several other inflammatory statements. UFC 190 is likely to have some fireworks with this much drama in the air.

Be sure to catch UFC 190 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro on August 1st live on PPV.
