CES MMA has added yet another fan-friendly fight to their 30th card, as ‘The Mangler” Matt Bessette will take on Canada’s own Lenny “Show Stealer” Wheeler.
The promotion announced the bout on their Twitter account on Friday.
Bessette (15-6) is a veteran of Bellator and is coming off a spectacular CES MMA debut, knocking out Khama Worthy in the second round at CES 29 just last month.
Wheeler (8-3-1) has won two in a row, both by TKO. Total time of those two bouts? Just 52 seconds! His most recent win was in March. He defeated Yuki Baba via TKO in 18 seconds at Pancrase 265.
CES MMA 30 is expected to take place on August 14 at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island. It will be headlined by the rematch between Julian Lane and Luis Felix. Other notable names on the card include; Dan Lauzon, Pat Walsh, Jesse McElligot and Peggy Morgan. As well as prospects such as Jessy Miele.
