For the first time in Battlefield Fight League’s five year existence, they will be co-promoting an event. BFL 40 will go down on November 14 from Chilliwack, B.C. and will be in collaboration with Warpath Fighting Championships.
BFL and Warpath FC co-promote for BFL 40 Warpath in Chilliwack
There are two fights that have been lined up for the Chilliwack fans. A welterweight slugfest has been set, as Mitch Burke (2-5) takes on the always aggressive Kolton Higginbottom (7-5). Also lined up is a rematch between Darwin Douglas (5-6) and Ryan Ballingal (4-10). Their first outing ended with Douglas’ hand raised, but it was due to doctor’s stoppage at BFL 34 in January.
Warpath FC has been around since 2011 and has put on twelve events. This will be the first time BFL has been outside the lower mainland city limits since BFL 21 in 2013 from Penticton, B.C.
