Prestige FC, the first home-grown mixed martial arts promotion in the Province of Saskatchewan, is pleased to announce several fights to the lineup for its inaugural event taking place on Saturday, October 24th at Crescent Point Place in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.

Prestige FC 1 stacks card for inaugural event

Two of the newly announced bouts will take place on the main card, while the remainder of fights will be part of a stacked undercard and prelims that showcase Canadian prospects.

The first addition to the main card is a light-heavyweight clash that pits Saskatchewan talent Josh Heinz (2-1) against Brazilian Maicon da Silva Lemos (2-0). Heinz, who trains out of the highly touted Canadian Martial Arts Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta, under the watch of Lee and Jordan Mein, went undefeated as an amateur and began his pro career with two straight first-round finishes including a 10-second knockout win against Paul Grebinski.

In the other main card addition, Tristar product Ilias “Leonidas” Sanoudakis (3-0) puts his perfect record on the line against tough veteran Eric Wilson (6-6) in bantamweight action.

Sanoudakis, who is from Montreal, Quebec, has captured back-to-back first-round submission victories in his last two outings. Wilson, a native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, has earned finishes in half of his wins and has been in the cage with several notables throughout his six-year career including a full three-round tussle with Josh Hill.

Highlighting the undercard of Prestige FC 1 is a welterweight showdown between two up-and-comers as Montreal’s Domenic Ruccolo (3-1) takes on Thomas “Tugboat” Richardson (2-0) of Winnipeg.

Two other prospects will try to keep their winning ways going on the undercard as Winnipeg’s Steve Roy (2-1) and hometown favorite Sheldon Leblanc (2-1) both see action.
