Each and every year the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community in British Columbia comes together for the Movember Rollathon at Gravity BJJ in Surrey.

4th Annual Movember Rollathon goes down this Saturday

The 4th annual Rollathon goes from Saturday at 9am to Sunday at 9am.

“This is an event we look forward to every year,” said organizer Sofie Zambas. “We are not only helping out a good cause but we are also bringing the jiu jitsu community together outside of competition. With jiu-jitsu a significantly male dominated sport, it’s important to create awareness on men’s health and prostate issues.”

The Rollathon begins at 9am with a kids cross-training class, followed with an adults training at 11am. Over the 24-hour period at least two people will be sparring on the mats at all times.

There will be raffle prizes given and a special Moustache Strut Off Competition in the evening at 8 p.m.

Some of the awesome sponsors that they have on board this year are: BC Kimonos, BJJ Depot, CBJJF, Choke Brand, Choke Boyz, Digitsu, Fushida, Gi-Soap, Jiu Jitsu Journals, Katana Fight Wear and Tatami Fight Wear.
