In a fight that any MMA fan with half a brain knew would be a war, UFC Welterweight Champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler took on challenger “The Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit in the main event of UFC 195. It was a close fight in the UFC’s Las Vegas home, the MGM Grand Garden Arena, with each man dropping the other at one point. In a fight that hinged on a close 3rd round, “Ruthless” Robbie swayed two of the judges and took home a split decision victory and retained his status as the king of the UFC’s 170 lbs. division.
