A welterweight match-up between Matt Dwyer and newcomer Randy Brown is set for UFC on FOX 18 at the end of the month.

Dwyer (8-3) is coming off an outstanding performance over a very tough Alan Jouban at UFC Fight Night 71. Despite a valiant effort, Dwyer came up short on the judges scorecards. Since making his UFC debut, Dwyer is 1-2, earning ‘Performance of the Night’ and ‘Fight of the Night’ honors in two of those outings.
Brown (6-0) is undefeated in his professional career that began in 2014. He has amassed a six-fight winning streak, with four of those coming last year. “Rude Boy” was found on the web series “Lookin’ for a Fight,” featuring UFC President Dana White. In Brown’s most recent outing he knocked out Robert Plotkin at Ring of Combat 53.
UFC on FOX 18 goes down on place January 30 from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The main event is a light heavyweight showdown between Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Ryan Bader.
