In the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 83, middleweights Derek Brunson and Roan “Jucao” Carneiro did battle in the cage at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA. In what was primarily a striking battle, Brunson had the advantage the entirety of the bout. Capitalizing on a slip from an over-committing “Jucao,” Brunson pounded out the Brazilian in vicious fashion. This brings Brunson’s win streak to 4 fights.
