On Thursday evening there were rumors running rampant that boxing icon Floyd Mayweather and UFC’s money maker Conor McGregor were on the verge of signing a billion dollar mega boxing fight.
Bodog releases odds for potential Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor bout
The Sun reported the news and stated that Mayweather is set to earn £100million (144,600,000 USD) in the boxing bout, while McGregor will take home £7million (10,120,250 USD).
“It was agreed in principle on May 2, but Floyd wouldn’t reveal the identity of his opponent until last night when he told friends he’ll be fighting Conor,” a source told The Sun.

Mayweather comes in at a serious -2000 favorite (1/20), with the brash McGregor sitting at a +900 underdog (9/1). There are terms for these odds and they are as follows: Must take place in 2016 for Action. Fight must be sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for Action.
McGregor has never fought a professional boxing fight, but is an impressive 19-3 in his MMA career. Most recently he suffered a submission loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196.
Mayweather is undefeated at 49-0 in his professional boxing career and most recently earned a unanimous decision victory over Andre Berto in late 2015.
