Three new bouts have been added to Bellator 158 in London, featuring an all-British heavyweight battle featuring BAMMA champion Mark Godbeer, Alex Reid in a bout nearly two-years in the making, Bola Omoyele.
The inclusion of the Mark Godbeer and Alex Reid bouts was first reported by MMALatestNews, while the Bola Omoyele vs. Lee Chadwick was reported by WhoaTV

BAMMA heavyweight king Mark Godbeer (10-2) will return to the Bellator cage to take on M4TC heavyweight champion James Mulheron (8-1).
Godbeer has finished all ten of his professional wins, nine of those being by way of (T)KO. Prior to his meeting with Mulheron in July, Godbeer returns to action this upcoming weekend on May 14 to defend his BAMMA heavyweight title vs. Stuart Austin (10-3) after nearly one-year of inactivity. He was scheduled to compete in the RIZIN Grand-Prix back in December before pulling out and being replaced by fellow Englishmen Brett McDermott. Godbeer had one fight under the Bellator banner in 2013, where he was stopped by UFC-vet Cheick Kongo.
Mulheron has finished five of his eight professional wins by (T)KO. He is the current ‘Made 4 The Cage’ heavyweight champion. All of his bouts, both amateur and professional, have taken place within the promotion. His sole loss came at the hands of future Eiko title challenger Ruben Wolf in a M4TC title match.
Middleweight’s Alex Reid (10-9-1, 1NC) and Rodney Moore (7-8) will do battle in a bout that was nearly made back in 2014 by European promotion Underdog Xtreme Championships. Both men have not fought since 2012.
Coming off a four year absence from MMA, Reid is currently riding a two-fight win streak after beating Sam Boo by decision back at BAMMA 11 in December 2012 and submitting Jason Barrett under the UCMMA banner in August 2011. Prior to this he had lost seven-straight, eight if you include his loss to Dean Amasinger on TUF 9. During that massive loss streak, Reid fought names like Tom Watson, Murilo Rua and Dave Menne.
Also coming off a four year absence from MMA, Moore has dropped his last three bouts, including losses to Dean Lister and Tor Troeng.
English middleweight’s Bola Omoyele (8-4) and UK MMA veteran Lee Chadwick (21-12-1) will also do battle in London.
Omoyele has not fought since May of 2015, but since then he has had five fights scheduled which got cancelled. In twelve professional fights, Omoyele has never went the distance, and has six knockouts with two submissions to his name. In his last fight he submitted Tye Palmer at UCMMA 43. He was a member of Ross Pearson’s ‘Team UK’ on ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Smashes’.
Former OMMAC middleweight champion Lee Chadwick has not fought since October of last year, but has won two-straight. Both of which by knockout.
If these three bouts are made official, they will join this current line-up at Bellator 158.
- – Kimbo Slice vs. James Thompson II
- – Paul Daley vs. Josh Koscheck II
- – Michael Page vs. Fernando Gonzalez
- – Linton Vassell vs. Francis Carmont.
‘Bellator 158: Slice vs. Thompson’ is set to take place on July 16 at the famed O2 Arena in London, England.
