After a two year hiatus, the UFC returns to Vancouver with a FOX event on August 27. Former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis will make his featherweight debut against Charles Oliveira on the FOX portion of the card.
UFC officials announced the news to FOX Sports on Wednesday.

Pettis (18-5) is riding a three-fight losing skid dating back to March 2015. “Showtime” lost his title to Rafael dos Anjos at the beginning of 2015 and followed up with a split decision loss to Eddie Alvarez and a decision loss to Edson Barboza.
Oliveira (21-5, 1NC) has gone 5-1 in his last six outings, with four of those coming via stoppage. Most recently, Oliveira tapped out Myles Jury in the very first round at UFC on FOX 17. The 26-year-old has been inactive since December 2015.
The FOX UFC Fight Night is expected to go down on August 27 from Vancouver’s Roger Arena. Tickets will go on sale Friday, June 17.
