The UFC Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk proved that she is the best 115-pound woman in the world, earning a unanimous decision victory against a very honorable Claudia Gadelha in the main event at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale on Friday evening.

Despite being dropped right at the beginning of the opening frame and taken down almost at will in rounds 1 and 2, Jedrzejczyk rallied in the third round and followed up with a dominating fourth and fifth round.

Despite Gadelha being worn down at the end of the fifth round, it seemed as if Jedrzejczyk was still very fresh. The judges scored the contest 48-46, 48-45 and 48-46 on the official scorecards. During her post-fight speech, the champion showed respect to her opponent and that was mutual as Gadelha got on the mic as well.

Jedrzejczyk is now tied with Ronda Rousey for the longest winning streak in UFC women’s history with six fights.
