After months of speculation, the sale of the UFC is now official.
UFC sale official; Dana White to stay President
8 News Now sat down with Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta in the morning and confirmed the sale. The official price tag on the organization is an outstanding $4 billion.
It wasn’t just one company that was involved in the purchase, but a few big names including: WME (William Morris Endeavor), IMG (International Management Group) and MSD. Also involved as a strategic partner is global investment firm KKR.
ESPN’s Brett Okamoto got some details from UFC President Dana White on the future of the organization.
