Veteran Sabah Fadai has finally stamped his ticket to return to the cage.

Sabah Fadai added to Hard Knocks 145-pound tournament

Fadai (11-5, 1NC) will step inside the Hard Knocks cage on October 14 at HK 51 to participate in the promotions 4-man 145-pound tournament. “The Persian Warrior” was the second fighter announced, the first was a man who he has wanted to fight for some time now — Lenny Wheeler. The two were actually expected to face off for the cancelled Z-Promotion card in Calgary in January, so we may finally get to see this fight.

The next two fighters will be announced in the coming days, with the tournament draw taking place on August 19.

Fadai hasn’t fought since his Triumph FC 1 loss to Daniel Swain in April. Prior to that bout, the 30-year-old was riding a three-fight winning streak. Much like many top ranked Canadians, Fadai has had a terribly hard time not only finding, but keeping opponents.

Hard Knocks 51 goes down on October 14 from the WinSport in Calgary, Alberta. The two finalists will face off for the promotions featherweight title at Hard Knocks 52 on December 9
