We all know Fusion Fight Gear puts out some awesome looking gear, but a lot of the time, if something looks really good, the quality is sacrificed. That is not the case when it comes to Fusion’s latest women’s spats (also known as tights),the Batman Crime Fighter women’s spats.
If you read the byline, then you will see that I am not a woman, however there are plenty of ladies that train at the gym that I go to — Apex Martial Arts. So what does that mean? Yes, that’s right, one lucky lady at the gym had an opportunity to try out a pair of Fusion Fight Gear spats for free.
Sarah Sakurai is a fresh blue belt who has competed on the largest stage, including the IBJJF Pans, as well as the IBJJF World’s in California. She has also competed on local soil, right here in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Some of her accolades include: Gold medal at CBJJF BC Provincials (White Belt), Gold medal Can Ams (White Belt, one weight class above), Silver medal Can Ams (White Belt, gave medal to teammate), Gold medal NAGA Hawaii (Blue Belt).
Check out her thoughts on the spats below.
“Honestly the best BJJ and also workout pants ever. The material is buttery soft, but also thick and durable. So when I washed them they did not pill or snag, and when I bend over they are not see through. (The majority of spats surprisingly are) A big bonus is the wide, high rise waist band that cinches nicely at the waist and flatters the booty. Thanks Fusion! I already have my eye on my next pair.”
As Sarah said they are a well made product. The material is a high-end 88% polyester, 12% spandex blend. The spandex content creates more elasticity and results in a more comfortable, contoured fit that hugs your body and makes you tough to grab. We use a thicker, 280 gsm material throughout the pants that makes them less sheer and tougher to see through.
