According to multiple outlets, a potential bout between Phil Brooks (AKA CM Punk) and Mike Jackson is being discussed for the UFC 225 pay-per-view. The oddsmakers at Bodog have released CM Punk betting odds for the possible Jackson fight.
CM Punk Betting Odds vs. Mike Jackson
Believe it or not, Punk is not as big an underdog as you may think. He comes into the bout against Jackson at a +200, while “The Truth” is a -250 favorite. Both men would come into the contest with a 0-1 record inside the UFC Octagon.
Punk (0-1) made his long awaited transition from the world of professional wrestling to MMA at UFC 203 in 2016. He trained for several years leading up to the bout against Mickey Gall, but it was over and done with in just two-minutes and fourteen-seconds.
Jackson (0-1) has been pushing via social media for a bout with Punk, ever since the former WWE champion lost to Gall. “The Truth” took on Gall just seven months prior to Punk and lost in the very same fashion — first round submission.
The following video was made by Champions.co and it featured Jackson in a WWEesque promo, calling out Punk.

Chicago is the home of Punk and led to some serious speculation. The promotion announced plans to return to the Windy City for UFC 225 this past week.
UFC 225 goes down on June 9 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. No fight announcements have been made at this time.
