Two-time Olympic gold medalist and PFL women’s champ, Kayla Harrison is continuing to get her feet wet. Harrison will take to the Titan FC cage, when she faces Jozette Cotton at Titan FC 66 on Dec. 17 in Miami, Florida.
This bout was announced on Monday afternoon, when ESPN first reported the booking.
Kayla Harrison faces Jozette Cotton at Titan FC 66
Harrison (8-0) is undefeated in her professional MMA career. After fighting her first seven times under the PFL banner and being crowned the promotional champion, the 30-year-old was given a chance to fight for the all-female promotion Invicta FC. On November 20, Harrison earned a second round TKO finish of Courtney King in her featherweight debut.
The female Judoka has shown a well rounded game, winning three fights by TKO, three fights by submission and two fights by decision.
Cotton (8-2) will look to avenge her 2018 TKO loss to Harrison at PFL 6. That was the last time Cotton saw the MMA cage, but fought to a draw in a boxing bout in March against Jordanne Garcia.
The fight card, which will be held at the InterContinental Miami, will be the promotion’s first event with fans in attendance since COVID-19 pandemic regulations were put in place earlier this year. Titan FC 66 will be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.
