Fresh off his one-sided beatdown of former NBA star Nate Robinson, we will now see YouTube sensation Jake Paul vs Ben Askren.
On Tuesday afternoon, Chael Sonnen announced the bout stating, “@jakepaul doesn’t trust many in the media to spread the word…. I’m was told “Ben then Dillion.”

Askren took to his Twitter account to make the news official.

Paul (2-0) as a boxing star, came from the YouTube world and has earned knockout victories against AnEsonGib and most recently the knockout of Robinson in the co-main event of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. fight card.
Askren has not stepped foot inside the squared circle, however has an elusive MMA career and has a notable wrestling background. The 36-year-old retired following two defeats inside the UFC octagon.
“Funky” holds a 19-2, 1NC record in MMA and has held titles in Bellator and ONE Championship.
With everything the Paul brothers do, this could very well be a marketing ploy, but who knows? Could 2021 possibly be any stranger than 2020 and we actually see Jake Paul vs Ben Askren?
