Micah Brakefield vs. Benji Silva added to SUG 20

Brakefield will step inside the SUG cage for the tenth time.  “Mitey’s” most recent appearance, he was defeated by Ben Egli in overtime at SUG 16. Prior to that he was in a controversial overtime loss to Austin Vanderford. He has the experience and ability to be a handful against anyone he competes against.

Silva is the main training partner and black belt of Mason Fowler at Caio Terra Academy. This will be Silva’s first Submission Underground match, so he will be looking to make a name for himself.

Early Wednesday morning, the team at Submission Underground announced the SUG 20 main card.

The main event features a battle for SUG gold, as champion Mason Fowler takes on Ryan Bader. Both men competed at SUG 19 this past weekend and were victorious. Fowler earned a submission victory in the main event against Satoshi Ishii and Bader beat Anthony Johnson via fastest escape time in OT.

Also featured on the card is a match between Craig Jones and Satoshi Ishii, as well as C.B. Dollaway takes on Richie Martinez.

SUG 20 goes down December 30 from Portland, Oregon.
