Ciryl Gane is reported to fight Jairzinho Rozenstruik in a top 10 heavyweight clash on the card headlined by Leon Edwards vs. Khamzat Chimaev for March 13th. The announcement was first reported by French publication La Sueur. The location for the card is not yet confirmed.

Fresh off the knockout win against Junior Dos Santos, Gane (7-0) will be looking for his fifth UFC win and continue the undefeated streak in his MMA career. The Frenchman has already beaten the likes of Raphael Pessoa, Don’Tale Mayes and Tanner Boser. Coming in ranked at number 7, Gane will be looking to crack into the top 5 of the UFC heavyweight rankings with a victory over Rozenstruik.
He has finished all of his fights with multiple knockouts and an impressive variety of submissions (heel hook, arm triangle, front choke) despite being a former Muay Thai kickboxer. Before entering the UFC, Gane was the TKO heavyweight champion in Quebec, Canada.
Jairzinho Rozenstruik
Rozenstruik (11-1) will be looking to capitalise on his victory back in August when he too defeated Dos Santos with an impressive victory over the Brazilian. After suffering his only loss to heavyweight powerhouse, Francis Ngannou, Rozenstruik bounced back as he dispatched Dos Santos with a vicious knockout in the second round.
Coming in ranked at number 3, the Surinamese fighter will be looking to defend his top 5 spot when he faces Gane in March. “Bigi Boy” has victories over Allen Crowder, Andrei Arlovski and Alistair Overeem. Rozenstruik boasts a magnificent record with 10 of his 11 wins coming by KO/TKO.
