ONE Championship returned on Friday, January 22, in Singapore for ONE: Unbreakable. The event marked the organization’s first of 2021, and it delivered with non-stop action.
The six-bout card electrified fans as five of the bouts ended with a finish.

ONE Super Series action headlined the event with Capitan Petchyindee Academy grabbing the ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Championship from Alaverdi “Babyface Killer” Ramazanov with a second-round knockout.
In heavyweight kickboxing action, Rade Opacic defeated Bruno Susano by TKO as he continued his impressive rise.
Of the four mixed martial arts bouts, Shinya Aoki vs. James Nakashima took center stage in the co-main event.
Aoki looked incredible when the two began to grapple and found his way seamlessly to Nakashima’s back. Although Nakashima defended well early-on, Aoki got his second hook in and locked in a body triangle. A neck crank was not far behind, and with both men dry as a bone, Aoki’s squeeze was enough to get the job done.
Former ONE Welterweight World Champion Zebaztian Kadestam welcomed Gadzhimurad Abdulaev to the company, but it was the newcomer who put himself into the title talk at welterweight.
Abdulaev quickly got the bout to the mat and moved to the back of the former champion. From there, a face crank would get the job done in just over two minutes of action.
Atomweight contender Meng Bo was the only victor that had to go the full allotment as she battled Samara Santos for 15 minutes. Santos showed herself well, but Meng was in control of the action for most of the contest and closed in full mount.
The Chinese athlete continues her run in the division and could be an early favorite in the upcoming ONE Atomweight World Grand Prix.
Opening up the night was Lito Adiwang vs. Namiki Kawahara. Adiwang got the finish he was looking for to re-establish himself, but the match meant more than just a win for the Filipino.
The Team Lakay representative recently lost his mother and dedicated his performance to her. There’s no doubt she would be proud of her son following his highlight-reel knockout.
