ONE on TNT II has a new, complete card after various injuries forced changes to the second scheduled primetime event for ONE Championship on Wednesday, April 14.
Changes to ONE on TNT II Fight Card
A strong addition to the card features American Janet “JT” Todd joining the main card.
The reigning ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion returned to Muay Thai at ONE: Fists Of Fury III and picked up a decision win over Alma Juniku. The #2-ranked contender in the division continues her bid to become a two-sport World Champion against #3-ranked atomweight Muay Thai contender Anne “Ninja” Line Hogstad.
Todd has been on fire as of late and will now get a chance to not only show the American audience the brilliance of “The Art of Eight Limbs”, but how the Southern Californian is at the top of the game.
The lead card will also see two changes.
Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks will be making his organization debut in the final lead card bout of the event.
Brooks (16-2 [1 NC]) has an impressive string of finishes to his credit and he’ll be facing an equally impressive finisher against Team Lakay’s Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang.
The Filipino’s 92% finishing rate has made him a can’t-miss athlete as of late. The lead card matchup could steal the show with guaranteed fireworks.
Dustin Joynson, originally scheduled against Islam Abasov, will also receive a new opponent.
Kirill Grishenko brings his 100% finishing rate to the ONE Circle against the Canadian for a heavyweight affair. As the heavyweight waters continue to deepen, the stakes are high for the debut performances for both men.
ONE on TNT II will air in primetime on TNT on Wednesday, April 14, with a ONE Lightweight World Championship main event between Christian “The Warrior” Lee and top-ranked contender Timofey Nastyukhin.
