LFA returns to action tonight with LFA 104, live from the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The card will be headlined by two Bellator veterans looking to work towards title contention at lightweight in Aaron McKenzie and Brandon Phillips.

McKenzie has won two in a row and five of his last six outings, including a unanimous decision win over TUF alum and UFC veteran Joe Giannetti. Phillips, meanwhile, has not fought in MMA since September 2018, although he has had some kickboxing bouts since then. He is riding a two-fight winning streak in MMA as well, which snapped a three-fight losing streak, two of which were against now-elite fighters in AJ McKee and Bryce Mitchell. With both fighters over 30 years old, a win is critical for the advancement of each fighters’ careers.

The LFA 104 co-main event is in the flyweight division between young Japanese prospect Yuma Horiuchi and World Series of Fighting and Dana White Contender Series veteran Donavon Frelow. Horiuchi is riding a two-fight losing streak, although both losses were by split decision. At 23 years old, he still has plenty of time to develop and grow.

He’ll look to take a step forward against a grizzled veteran in Frelow, who is riding a three-fight losing streak and has lost four of his last five, albeit against solid competition such as Ricky Simon and Magomed Bibulatov. Frelow will be out to prove that he still has some has in the tank in what expects to be an exciting stand-up affair.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with the LFA 104 results tonight. The main card starts at 9pm ET/6pm PT on UFC Fight Pass, preceded by two preliminary card fights on LFA’s Facebook page.
