ONE Championship has added three new Chinese athletes to its roster, and fireworks are to be expected when they step foot inside the ONE Circle.

Leading the charge on the signings is one of the world’s best kickboxers — Qiu Jianliang.
The Chinese star is currently riding a 17-bout winning streak into ONE. The talented kickboxer with a laundry list of accolades is eyeing the ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Championship with the intent of being China’s first male ONE World Champion.
“I am very honored to join ONE Championship, the world’s largest martial arts organization. I am excited to take my professional fighting career to the next level,” Qiu told ONE in their announcement of the signing.
“Right now, Xiong Jing Nan is the only Chinese ONE World Champion, but that will soon change. I want to make history as the first-ever male ONE World Champion from China.”
Joining him on the journey are two mixed martial artists.
“The Warrior” Zhang Lipeng, the winner of the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter: China, steps onto the global stage in the lightweight division. In his last 24 outings, Zhang posted an impressive 21-2-1 record.
With a 73% finishing rate, Zhang will be looking to make an immediate impact in one of the deepest divisions in the sport while chasing after a fellow athlete with the same nickname — ONE Lightweight World Champion Christian Lee.
Finally, “The Prince” Banma Duoji will also join the promotion to compete in the strawweight division.
Banma has a perfect 100% finishing rate in his bouts which should excite fans as he steps under the bright lights of ONE. Moreover, the Chinese athlete will bring many fans along with him as the star of a 2018 boxing film in China entitled The Golden Belt.
“The Prince” has been near-flawless in his mixed martial arts career with a 13-1 (1 NC) professional record. Banma steps into the Circle with the intent of making an immediate impact.
All three athletes are expected to debut in the near future per ONE. We’ll have updates on their debut matches when they are announced.
