Can Ciryl Gane Remain Unbeaten This Saturday?
With both fighters enjoying winning streaks, there is a lot on the line for the two combatants looking for that statement performance to solidify their standing in the rankings. However, some might say more pressure is on Gane considering he is trying to keep a perfect record intact. The former kickboxing standout garnered a lot of attention when he first came onto the UFC scene. As a five-fight veteran in the UFC, the French prospect is beginning to become more comfortable inside the Octagon and has yet to lose under the banner.
In his last performance, Gane was tasked with taking on a very dangerous opponent in Jairzinho Rozenstruik. Even though the performance was lacklustre on the part of both men, the fight resulted in Gane getting his hand raised. Despite fans being unhappy with the performance, his latest win indicated that the French upstart can go five rounds, and do so comfortably. Following his best UFC win over Rozenstruik, many thought that Gane played it safe but this weekend he has a chance to redeem himself in the eyes of many fans.
Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov Ready To Muddy Top Of The HW Title Picture
Alexander Volkov enters his tenth UFC fight with a professional record of 33-8. Obviously, the type of reach and length he possesses at 6″7″, makes him difficult to get inside on, especially when he potshots from outside range to avoid being in the pocket for too long. During his nine-fight tenure in the UFC, Volkov is always dangerous and unpredictable.

Additionally, the Russian’s shot selection is diverse so it makes for a puzzling challenge any time the fight remains upright.
The Winner of Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov Will Disrupt HW Division
With the former light heavyweight king Jon Jones lurking in the shadows of heavyweight, many believe that the division has never been deeper. In particular, the former 2X heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is lobbying for a rematch with Ngannou and he certainly has a claim to the spot considering each man holds a win over the other.
Once the conclusion of UFC Vegas 30 is cemented, then there will be a new heavyweight on the block eager to fight for the title with an appealing win streak attached to their name. Since both athletes are hovering in or around the top five, a win at UFC Vegas 30 could be essential to a title venture later in 2021.
Without a doubt, if a finish comes this weekend, it will muddy the heavyweight picture and give fans even more options for playing fantasy matchmaker come Monday morning.
Do you think Ciryl Gane will remain unbeaten at UFC Vegas 30?
