Appearing in their first UFC main event, Islam Makhachev and Thiago Moises face off in a lightweight bout as MMASucka provides UFC Vegas 31 Results. Makhachev entered the UFC with an undefeated record in 2015. In his second UFC outing, he suffered his first pro loss at the hands of Adriano Martins. Since that loss, Makhachev has won his last seven straight fights. In his last three fights, he has picked up unanimous decision wins over Arman Tsarukyan and Davi Ramos and a submission win in his last outing over Drew Dober.

As for Moises, he made his UFC debut coming off the Contender Series in 2018. Moises made his debut on short notice, filling in for an injured fighter against a tough opponent in Beneil Dariush. Moises ended up losing the fight by unanimous decision. Since then, he has put together a record of 4-1, including wins in his last three straight outings. His three fight win streak started with a submission win over Michael Johnson, followed by decision wins over Bobby Green and Alexander Hernandez. Picking up a big win over Makhacehv would surely launch Moises into the top ten of the division.
