Former undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is keeping busy in retirement. The Russian-born MMA fighter recently announced the launch of his own mobile cell phone network company named Eagle Mobile, and two health food companies: Fitroo by Khabib & Water by Khabib.

Eagle Mobile by Khabib

December of 2020 Khabib Nurmagomedov wrote on his Instagram regarding Eagle Mobile, saying Russian to English Translation:

“Today is the same day. As they say in the West, Today Is the Day. Day of the big launch of our operator Eagle Mobile! I worked really hard to make the service the way I would like to use it myself. Convenient for everyone, understandable for everyone, honest and responsible. So far only Moscow and the region, but other regions are not far off. This is an interesting and new task for me, but so much the better, because I respect-worthy challenges. Today we start issuing SIM-cards, which means the big journey begins. Join, I will be glad to everyone! And you can follow all the news on the official page: Eagle Mobile.”

MMA fans will also be rewarded for signing on to Eagle Mobile. A loyalty plan is added to the mobile system in which plan users can get exclusive signed merchandise from Khabib Nurmagomedov.

According to TA Advisor, this network will only be available in Moscow and the Moscow region. Other Russian regions will be added later on.

Fitroo by Khabib & Water by Khabib

Lightweight great Khabib Nurmagomedov will also be expanding his business ventures into food & drink into the nation of the United Arab Emirates. Two products will be launched by Nurmagomedov exclusively in the UAE, both with a focus on nutrition and health.

Fitroo by Khabib is a health food protein bar. Multiple flavors and clothing merchandise is available on their official website. The company’s official Instagram account writes: “Collect your energy and remember: Before you pray – Believe. Before you speak- listen. Before you spend- earn. Before you write- think. Before you quit- try. Before you die- live.”

Water by Khabib is focused on producing healthy and clean water and has minerals in it. “Supercharged alkaline water” is what Khabib Nurmagomedov recently called it on Instagram

“It is safe and healthy for everyday consumption for adults, children, pregnant and elderly people!” The official Water by Khabib website says, “We have created this water according to comprehensive quality standards and up-to-date manufacturing technology, and developed a unique formula of PH TOP water which carries a blend of numerous positive effects.”

Both products are available in the UAE exclusively at ENOC’s ZOOM convenience stores, according to Gulf News.

Khabib Nurmagomedov Only Retired from MMA

Clearly, the former UFC lightweight champion is only retired from MMA competition. He has not stopped working. Launching companies and additionally coaching fighters from his gym.

Officially retired as of March of 2021, UFC President Dana White said: “He is 100% officially retired. It was incredible to watch you work Khabib. Thank you for everything and enjoy whatever is next my friend.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov recently spoke on how retirement has been treating him. In June of this year, he told UFC Russia: “I am living the life of an ordinary person, not the one of a professional athlete. I think living the life of an athlete is somewhat close to being held in a prison. Because every day he has to do exactly the same thing — train, rest, then train again, then rest. It’s like living in the same mode, at the same pace, not slowing down. Once you slow down, you are no longer a champion. So I have just released myself from this prison in a way.”

Very much officially retired from competition, yet the lightweight great is keeping very active in retirement. With his name and popularity, more opportunities will likely arise for Nurmagomedov to continue his business growth.
