Polaris Squads 3 Results – Team UK and Ireland vs. Team USA
Polaris Squads is a team no-gi grappling event with submission only rule-set. Each team will have eight members, four members must be under 75kg and four members must be under 95kg. The teams for Polaris Squads 3 will be Team UK and Ireland versus Team USA. Rosters for each team can be found below.
Polaris Squads utilizes a Stays-on-the-mat system. Grappling matches will go for 5 minutes with 30 seconds in-between. If one competitor submits their opponent, the winning competitor will stay on the mat and grapple against the team’s next member.
A special grappling single match will also be featured at Polaris Squads 3. Nastasa Silviu Georgian, who is a Romanian Judo competitor who also has a Purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu, will meet Kyle Boehm, of the USA, who is a 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
