CFFC 101 Results

After the successful festivities at CFFC 100, the organization returns to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to host CFFC 101 at the Parx Casino. MMA Sucka is here to bring you live results for the entire CFFC 101 card.

In the main event, CFFC flyweight champion, Phumi Nkuta (3-0) defends his strap for the first time as he takes on Miguel Junior Dias (3-1). The LAW MMA product earned the CFFC flyweight title in dominant fashion as he defeated Alberto Trujillo by unanimous decision in March at CFFC 92. Nkuta was originally scheduled to fight former CFFC champion, Santo Curatolo, prior to his Dana White’s Contender series appearance, however, Miguel Junior Diaz stepped in on short notice to be his dance partner. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt under Daniel Gracie is on a two-fight win streak and will make his first appearance of the year at CFFC 101.

A pair of undefeated welterweight Jiu-Jitsu specialists meet in the co-main event as Jonathan Piersma (3-0) takes on Kris Vereen (5-0). Piersma will make his way to the cage known as one of the best welterweight prospects in the state of New York. He has won all three of his pro bouts by submission and even secured a rare omaplata win over Thomas Majeski at CFFC 94. His opponent, Kris Vereen, is a Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and has also finished everyone he’s faced in his pro career.

Also featured on the card are undefeated bantamweight prospect, Efrain Escareno (3-0) and Bellator veteran Jeremiah Labiano (12-8).
