A matchup between friends in Rafael Fiziev and Brad Riddell did not disappoint like some do when friends fight. This fight from the first bell seemed like they made a commitment to give it their all and they did just that until Fiziev called game with an insane knockout.
Rafael Fiziev is Officially Here, Knocks Out Brad Riddell
Fiziev and Riddell had been teammates at City Kickboxing previously but the current Sanford MMA product looks like he is adapting just fine with coach Henri Hooft. Hooft has proven to do wonders for so many fighters in the striking department and it seems Fiziev has learned something special after seeing the wheel kick he landed on Riddell.

Fiziev entered the fight ranked 14th in the division with Riddell being ranked 12th but now with a fifth straight win in the UFC we may see the Krygyztanian crack the top ten of the lightweight division. The division is stacked at the top but it is impossible to ignore him now after the impressive performances he has had this year against Riddell and Bobby Green.
A fun matchup in the future may include the likes of Gregor Gillespie or maybe if the promotion wants to put him on the fast track a matchup against the likes of Tony Ferguson or Rafael Dos Anjos may be a stern enough test to see what the promotion has with him.
If you as Rafael Fiziev though, he would rather fight Vince Vaughn, or Fred Claus as he is known as this time of year.
