Charles Johnson has a lot of momentum in his career. Johnson who last Friday at LFA 122 had one of the best title defenses in LFA history a back-and-forth slugfest where Johnson finished his opponent a dangerous Brazilian in Carlos Mota and handed Mota the first loss of his professional MMA career. With the win, Johnson is now on a four-fight win streak and became the first man to successfully defend an LFA Championship Twice.
Johnson is looking to keep the momentum going as he is hoping for an opportunity to fight on the upcoming FAC Card in Kansas City Missouri which will be another taping of the Dana White Looking For A Fight Show, where also the Nelk Boys will be sponsoring a fighter who isn’t in the UFC. Johnson who is a native of St. Louis Missouri wouldn’t have to travel too far and as well just finished up his tree fight contract with the LFA so is now a free agent.
In this interview I spoke with Johnson about his LFA title defense, fighting in front of his hometown of St. Louis Missouri, hoping to get on this Dana White Looking for a Fight card as well as the Flyweight Division as a whole.
