Ken Shamrock’s Valor Bare Knuckle Fighting returns April 22nd in Miami. It looked like UFC Hall of Famer’s promotion was done after its’ premiere event but after the recent announcement, this is not the case.

Established by Valor Sports inc. and Shamrock ValorBK is based around bare-knuckle matchups pitting professional boxers against mixed-martial-arts fighters. All the fights take place in the Bout Circle – a circular fight arena.

Shamrock, an MMA pioneer and the first UFC Hall of Fame inductee, who for many years was known as ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man’ stated that:

ValorBK is a lifelong vision realized after decades of global competition at the highest level across various combat sports. With the innovation of the Bout Circle and our unique rulesets, ValorBK will take the industry by storm. No gloves, no ropes, no cages, no dirty boxing, is a concept born in part out of competition and is perfect for the next phase of combat sports. This platform will provide an incredible visual experience unique to ValorBK.

Stand them up’ was a theme I heard throughout my career. I know what fans want to see and what real fighters want to do. Our first event was the proof. ValorBK will disrupt bare-knuckle while also enhancing the great sport of boxing by developing a generation of skilled fighters tilted towards action. We are pleased to announce our return and hope you tune in for more big updates.

Valor Bare Knuckle Fighting’s debut event took place at the 4 Bears Casino & Lodge in New Town, North Dakota on Saturday, September 21, 2020. It featured a one-night four-man heavyweight tournament with Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. “Mighty Mo” Siliga and Jack May vs. Mark Godbeer as the starting brackets. James McSweeney and Brian Heden served as the tournament alternates. Godbeer won the tournament by knocking out Mighty Mo in the finals.
