Borics took part in Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix back in 2020, where he lost to Darrion Caldwell by submission in the quarterfinals, ending his 13 fight winning streak. Since then he bounced back stacking up a series of three decision wins and achieved No.2 position in Bellator divisional ranking. A UFC and CageWarriors veteran, Burnell is riding a seven-fight winning streak and is unbeaten inside the Bellator cage. The winner of this matchup will face whoever comes victorious out of the upcoming rematch between A.J.Mckee and Patricio Pitbull.
In the co-main event, former Bellator light heavyweight champion Phil Davis will face a most recent title challenger, Julius Anglickas. This clash will make an impact on the divisional ranking. Davis is looking to continue his winning ways after a split decision win over Yoel Romero and Anglickas will want to bounce back after his submission loss to champion Vadim Nemkov at Bellator 268.
Bellator 276 will also feature a welterweight clash between undefeated Jay – Jay Wilson and Gadzhi Rabadanov and a light heavyweight scrap between Alex Polizzi and Jose Augusto.
