ONE Championship continues to gain Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu star power with the addition of Danielle Kelly.

The 26-year-old grappling star announced that she had signed with the organization on her Instagram page.

“I can’t put into words how much this means to me. I try my best to be the best I can be whether that’s on or off the mats. I love what ONE represents,” said Kelly.

The American has gained popularity as she has risen toward the top of the BJJ world. In her post, she stated that she will compete in grappling bouts first but intends to transition into mixed martial arts at some point.

Kelly has stated she has been training on all aspects of martial arts in anticipation of the transition, but her focus for the time being remains on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

When Kelly does step foot into the Circle, it will be one of the most highly-anticipated debuts. The Pennsylvania resident will bring in a wide range of fans who admire her abilities on the canvas and will be glued to their screens to see how she has developed her stand-up.

ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong replied to her post, stating his excitement about her signing.

“Welcome again to the world’s largest stage of martial arts, Danielle! I’m excited to be working together,” exclaimed Sityodtong.

ONE’s ranks include Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida, Garry Tonon, Gordon Ryan, Andre Galvao, and more standout grappling stars. Kelly’s inclusion continues to highlight the organization’s commitment to showcasing each aspect of martial arts.

There is no timetable for Kelly’s debut.
