Bellator has announced today, that Michael ‘Venom’ Page will take on Logan Storley in an Interim Welterweight title bout on May 13 in London.
The match came up as a result of reigning champion Yaroslav Amosov being unable to defend his Welterweight title due to defending his home country.
Amosov was originally scheduled to defend championship gold against the aforementioned MVP. Now, under new circumstances, fans gathered in OVO Wembley Arena will witness an interim title fight.
Page has a 20 – 1 professional MMA record and earned himself a title shot by extending his winning streak up to 6 in a row, avenging his only defeat to Douglas Lima in the process.
Storley sports a 13 – 1 record, with being loss coming as a split decision against the aforementioned Amosov in 2020. Most recently he defeated Neiman Gracie at Bellator 274
