Roberto Soldić Meets with UFC, Considers Next Steps
The contract of the popular “Robocop” with KSW will expire in a few months and he is obligated to fight just one more time. If the parties do not reach an agreement in the near future, it may turn out that the European fans will no longer be able to watch the Croatian in KSW’s circular cage.
The UFD Gym member currently enjoys great interest from various organizations from around the world, and often publicly refers to his future. In many interviews, he has stated his ambition is to sign with the UFC, although he does not rule out staying with the KSW, at least as long as his financial demands are met. He is also open to signing with PFL or Bellator.
Certainly, joining the roster of the largest MMA promotion in the world is strongly taken into consideration by Soldić himself. Photos of Soldić’s meeting captured with UFC matchmakers, Hunter Campbell and Mick Maynard seem to confirm these claims.
Roberto Soldić has a 20 – 3 professional MMA record and has been fighting under the KSW banner since the end of 2017. Within the last few years, he became one of the biggest stars of the Polish organization. He currently rides a fantastic seven-fight winning streak and during his KSW tenure, he has defeated such notable names as Borys Mańkowski, Dricus Du Plessis, Michał Materla, and Patrik Kincl. Soldić last fought three months ago where he brutally knocked out the KSW legend, Mamed Khalidov, and thus won his second championship title.
