MMASucka’s PFL 2 2022 Staff Picks

A third of the calendar year is days away from being in the books as our MMASucka staff picks continue onward with a double-header, fight card weekend.

Later tonight, April 28 will see PFL 2 2022 take place from the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This marks the Professional Fighters League’s second of six Regular Season fight cards ultimately leading to the promotion’s one-million dollar tournament later this year. Tonight’s preliminary card will begin at 6:00pm ET (3:00pm PT) live on ESPN+ and the main card beginning at 9:00pm ET (6:00pm PT) on both ESPN+ and ESPN 2.

Live results from all of PFL 2 2022 are to be available here at MMASucka.

Stay tuned this coming Saturday to MMASucka for our UFC Vegas 53: Font vs. Vera staff picks.

The Fights

PFL’s Regular Season continues with fighters tonight competing in the featherweight (145 pounds) and heavyweight (265 pounds) divisions. 2022 heavyweight tournament champion Bruno Cappelozza will take on England’s Stuart Austin in the featured main event.

Also competing in the division for our picks sees the three-fight run of Renan Ferreira and last year’s runner-up Ante Delija taking on their respected opponents.

At 145 pounds, two-time tournament king Lance Palmer will look to snap a two-fight skid against last year’s divisional finalist Chris Wade. Manchester’s Brendan Loughnane will fight promotional newcomer Ryoji Kudo while former UFC fighter Kyle Bochniak also takes his first PFL appearance against former Brave CF champion Bubba Jenkins.

Who are the MMASucka staff picking to win at PFL 2 2022? Find out further below.

Staff Picks

Staff picks in 2022 will follow the same set of rules from the 2021 season. Throughout the calendar year, staff picks will be composed of main card fights from both UFC and Bellator events. Main card fights and selected preliminary fights will be included for PFL MMA. Dana White’s Contender Series will be composed of the entire fight card; dates for this promotion’s return are soon-to-be announced.

The WINNER of staff picks in 2022 will have a choice between receiving a custom-made championship belt from ProAmBelts or a chain from Championship Chains. A winner is determined simply by the individual correctly picking the most victorious fighters at the year’s end. Nate Freeman secured his first victory with MMASucka in 2021 with a compiled record 243-136.
