Superbon Calls Out Thanh Le For Featherweight Superfight

ONE Championship‘s featherweight kickboxing king, Superbon Singha Mawynn, is eyeing multi-sport gold as he has called out ONE Featherweight World Champion Thanh Le.

In an Instagram post, Superbon not only made his callout but called on UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski to help him train for the battle.

“I want to have three belts, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA. I’m coming for you Thanh Le! Alexander Volkanovski lets train,” wrote Superbon.

The Louisianan was quick to reply.

“That would be a phenomenal way to collect the new belt… vs a LEGEND!!! ONE Championship, Chatri Sityodtong, Vayner Sports Let’s get the ball rolling,” posted Le.

But that was not Le’s only response. The featherweight king has long been advocating for matchups with the other featherweight titleholders around the world. The MidCity MMA representative is supremely confident he will come out on top as the best featherweight on the planet.

He has good reason to be confident. He is riding a string of highlight-reel knockout wins that have led him to his division’s apex.

“…eventually, I want to share the stage with your coach too!! Alexander Volkanovski … maybe after I beat Patricio Pitbull 🤷🏻‍♂️,” continued Le.

But Superbon is the one calling him out first and is seemingly ready for bigger challenges outside of kickboxing. The meeting between KO artists would be a thrilling encounter should it happen.

Featherweight greats calling each other out is always a good sign of things to come. Superbon vs. Le will be an electric contest if pen is ever put to paper.
