Petchmorakot Petchyindee edged out Jimmy Vienot at ONE 157 on Friday, May 20, inside the ONE Championship Circle. Following the gritty performance, the Thai star is beginning to eye new challenges on the global stage.

Atop the list are Tawanchai PK.Saenchai and Superbon Singha Mawynn.

“I want to fight Tawanchai, but it’s up to ONE Championship. Whether it is Superbon or Tawanchai or anybody else in the division, I think a more entertaining fight for me would be with Superbon,” Petchmorakot said after his victory at ONE 157.

Currently, Tawanchai is coming off a first-round knockout over Saemapetch Fairtex at ONE: Heavy Hitters this past January.

But a potential meeting with ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon has the makings for a superfight.

Superbon is a perfect 3-0 since joining the organization and holds a spectacular knockout over pound-for-pound great Giorgio Petrosyan. The Thai star is also the #2-ranked contender in the featherweight Muay Thai division per the official ONE athlete rankings.

And Superbon is gearing up for a run at that gold.

On Tuesday, the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion posted a clip of himself in the gym, hitting pads, with a caption reading, “That Muay Thai belt must be mine.”

The possible marquee matchup is an exciting thought for fans around the globe as both elite strikers have their sights set on one another.

If the matchup between the two World Champions comes to fruition, it will be a massive main event title tilt that could be the match to watch in the back half of 2022.
