Fabricio Andrade Predicts KO At 158, Eyes Lineker Next

Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade has jumped into the ONE Bantamweight World Championship title picture after a perfect 4-0 record on the global stage. The Brazilian returns on Friday, June 3, at ONE 158: Tawanchai vs. Larsen to take another step closer to the title shot.

Fabricio Andrade Predicts KO At 158

Standing on the opposite side of the ONE Championship Circle from him will be #2-ranked contender Kwon Won Il.

Andrade has been on fire in and out of the Circle as of late. The 24-year-old is on a six-bout win streak and has finished both of his most recent opponents by first-round KO/TKO. The stunning results have brought the title to the forefront of his mind.

That is evident in his social media posts. The Brazilian has been relentless in his chase of the ONE Bantamweight World Championship, with multiple calls for the belt on his profiles.

In a recent post to Instagram, Andrade added that he would get another first-round knockout, and then John Lineker, the reigning king of the division, would have to meet his fellow countryman for the gold.

“June 3rd! Another first-round KO. The main chicken will have nowhere to go after this one,” wrote Andrade.

But getting past “Pretty Boy” will not be an easy task.

The South Korean is on his own three-bout win streak inside the Circle, and he has finished all three by KO/TKO. Most recently, this past December, Il took out former World Champion Kevin Belingon with a crushing body shot to increase his finishing rate to 90%.

Perhaps more importantly, against Andrade, “Pretty Boy” has never suffered defeat by knockout.

It is an incredible matchup between two aggressive finishers.

After repeatedly calling the other ranked bantamweights chickens, Andrade will have to back up his talk against one of the best and hottest athletes in the division. It becomes a showdown with title implications.

This is what “Wonder Boy” wanted, and now he gets it in the co-main event of ONE 158.

ONE 158 airs live and free on watch.onefc.com on Friday, June 3, at 5:30 a.m. ET/2:30 a.m. PT.
