The Fights
A possible five rounds are in store between featherweights Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett in tonight’s main event.
Kattar will make his fifth UFC main event appearance in just his last six octagon walks, most recently decisioning Giga Chikadze in a dominant January performance. The New England Cartel talent will look for the 24th win of his near-15 year career. Kattar’s opponent, Emmett, has only faced defeat twice through 19 professional fights as his 20th bout tonight will be his biggest yet. Four straight victories including two by knockout have come since his lone promotional main event defeat to Jeremy Stephens in February of 2018.

In the co-main event, Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon look to give it their all. The two combat veterans have competed a combined total of 97 MMA fights, 64 victories, and a finishing rate including both knockouts and submissions of nearly 83%. Cerrone aims to snap a five-fight skid searching for his first win in over three years while Lauzon returns to the cage after a two-plus year hiatus lastly finishing Jonathan Pearce by knockout in late 2019.

Staff Picks
Staff picks in 2022 will follow the same set of rules from the 2021 season. Throughout the calendar year, staff picks will be composed of main card fights from both UFC and Bellator events. Main card fights and selected preliminary fights will be included for PFL MMA. Dana White’s Contender Series will be composed of the entire fight card; dates for this promotion’s return are soon-to-be announced.
The WINNER of staff picks in 2022 will have a choice between receiving a custom-made championship belt from ProAmBelts or a chain from Championship Chains. A winner is determined simply by the individual correctly picking the most victorious fighters at the year’s end. Nate Freeman secured his first victory with MMASucka in 2021 with a compiled record 243-136.
