MMASucka’s PFL 6 2022 Staff Picks

The Professional Fighters League sees its final Regular Season event of 2022, and our staff picks are locked in for the night ahead.

PFL 6 2022 will begin in just a few hours tonight, July 1 from the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Fighters from two separate weight classes will battle for a spot in the August playoffs before the promotion’s ultimate one-million dollar finale on November 25. The preliminary card will begin on ESPN+ at 5:00pm ET (2:00pm PT) with the main card at 8:00pm ET (5:00pm PT) on both ESPN+ and ESPN.

Live results from the entire PFL 6 2022 fight card will be available here at MMASucka.

Also, stay tuned tomorrow afternoon for our UFC 276: Adesanya vs. Cannonier picks from Las Vegas.

The Fights

Lightweights (155 pounds) and welterweights (170 pounds) will hunt for a final chance at points on tonight’s card. In the featured main event, Kayla Harrison will look to continue her dominance as she takes on short-notice replacement veteran Kaitlin Young.

Among the men fighters at 170 pounds sees Rory MacDonald and Sadibou Sy set to clash in the co-main event. 2019 and 2021 tournament champion Ray Cooper III will meet former Bellator and ACB champion Brett Cooper while 2018 seasonal winner Magomed Magomedkerimov battles former Titan FC title holder Dilano Taylor.

Not all fights from the card will be counted towards our picks, but three selected pairings from each of the two separate weight classes will be included. Who are the MMASucka staff picking to win at PFL 6 2022? Find out further below.

Staff Picks

Staff picks in 2022 will follow the same set of rules from the 2021 season. Throughout the calendar year, staff picks will be composed of main card fights from both UFC and Bellator events. Main card fights and selected preliminary fights will be included for PFL MMA. Dana White’s Contender Series will be composed of the entire fight card; dates for this promotion’s return are soon-to-be announced.

The WINNER of staff picks in 2022 will have a choice between receiving a custom-made championship belt from ProAmBelts or a chain from Championship Chains. A winner is determined simply by the individual correctly picking the most victorious fighters at the year’s end. Nate Freeman secured his first victory with MMASucka in 2021 with a compiled record 243-136.
