‘Pass me a bevvy lad’!
After a spout of forgettable decisions early on in the card, a stark contrast to that of the previous London card in March, the fan favourite, Molly McCann got the crowd on their feet. The flyweight star was on point all week, stealing the show alongside her teammate, Paddy Pimblett and dominating the fan engagement. Prior to McCann’s bout, without a doubt, the most entertaining fight was when Nathaniel Wood battered Charles Rosa over 15-minutes.

Taking on the always game, Hannah Goldy, McCann was able to knock her American opponent inside the first five minutes.
The Fight Itself
After a competitive opening minute, where both women were working out their range, McCann began to land on Goldy. Goldy was able to close the distance effectively, clinching the Liverpudlian and controlling her up against the fence. The one-two of McCann couldn’t miss and it was ultimately this that set up the finish.
After a brief leg-lock attempt by Goldy, McCann called her opponent back to her feet to go at it again. Instantly throwing a brutal overhand right which knocked Goldy to the fence, followed by her now famous spinning back elbow and brutal follow-up shots, Herb Dean had seen enough. McCann got her hand raised to huge cheers from the crowd.

Post-fight, McCann thanked the crowd for getting behind her and always supporting her. She then shared a shot of Howler Head whiskey with Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Michael Chandler.
