GLORY Kickboxing announced details about Rivals 2 event, which will take place September 17 at the De Meent in Alkmaar, Netherlands. This will be a second fight card in a Rivals series, which will feature fighters from the partner promotion Enfusion.
In the main event, a former Enfusion Welterweight Title challenger Robin Ciric will take on former title holder Endy Semeleer. Ciric has a 37 – 6 record and comes out of a loss to Mohamed Touchassie at Enfusion 109. This was a title fight for a vacated Enfusion Welterweight Title. This defeat put an end to his eleven-fight win streak.
Semeleer was the one to vacate the belt after signing with GLORY. The former champion has a 30 – 1 record and currently rides a five-fight winning streak. He’s a former three-division Enfusion champion who looks to make a statement in the new promotion.
Ibrahim El Bouni will return to the GLORY Rivals series as he’ll take on Badr Ferdaous. A ONE Championship veteran made his debut at the premiere Rivals event by defeating Clyde Brunswijk back in June.
Ferdaous is a veteran with a 32 – 9 – 1 record.
Regilio van den Ent, who scored an impressive KO win over Jon Johnson at the first Rivals event, will square off against GLORY welterweight competitor Jos van Belzen.
Belzen is on a two-fight losing streak as he was defeated by Tony Jas and Jay Overmeer in the undercard of GLORY 76 and GLORY 80 respectively.
Both Clyde Brunswijk and Muhammed Bali will look to bounce back after suffering losses at GLORY Rivals 1. Additionally in the welterweight affair, Jimmy van Kuijeren will face Frank Rubancka.
