Logan Paul Implores Dillon Danis to Send Him a Fight Contract

Youtuber, podcaster, ‘boxer’ and one of the WWE’s latest signings, Logan Paul has told Dillon Danis to send him a fight contract ahead of a potential boxing match. Danis, who last fought for Bellator, has never fought in a sanctioned boxing match and has been our rehabbing a knee injury in recent years.

Danis last competed in MMA in June 2019. For context, since then, Rory MacDonald (who headlined the card Danis last competed on) has since had six fights and changed promotions. Danis’ potential opponent, Logan Paul has had one professional boxing match against KSI and an exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather. He also competed at Wrestlemania 38 and released a hydration drinks company alongside KSI.

The two men have gone back and forth on social media for a number of months, teasing a potential fight. Danis has since claimed that he is now fit and ready to fight Paul.

Paul has since responded on the above post stating “Is it my move? I’ve been hounding y’all to send me a contract for the last three weeks.”

Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul

There is no doubt that Paul holds a huge size advantage, is a much bigger ‘name’ than Danis as well as technically having more boxing experience. Speaking to Youtuber ‘True Geordie’, Paul discussed the potential fight and said:

“I’m going to piece up Dillon Danis. Everyone would love that, that dude is the gum that sticks to the bottom of your shoe when you walk down the street, that dude sucks. “I’m going to shut his a** up, he’ll talk about getting in the ring with me, he’ll do his talking online that will get a little attention. But the moment you sign that contract, the moment that you’re in the ring across from me the story’s going to change a little bit.”

Is there any interest in this fight? Maybe from the Youtube audience, however, Danis should really stick to MMA. His striking has looked amateurish in his two professional bouts thus far but there is no doubting his BJJ credentials. Danis appeared to be hunting a fight with Logan’s younger brother, Jake Paul, however, it appears that Jake has little interest in that one.

For Paul, who wants to make a return to boxing, this one makes sense. Danis is a known name in combat sports world, having come to light during Conor McGregor‘s second Nate Diaz fight camp. A win over the trash-talking jiu-jitsu phenom would certainly be beneficial for Paul and would allow him to burst back into the boxing scene.
