The Fights

Ten fighters from five different weight classes look impress Dana White and company for their chance at a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Week one saw a lone Joseph Pyfer take a promotional contract while everyone victorious in week two earned their UFC contract with style. Who tonight will find the golden ticket?

Featured in tonight’s main event sees former three-time NCAA Division I national champion and American Top Team standout Bo Nickal fight in only his second-ever professional fight against San Antonio, Texas native Zack Borrego who will look for the big upset.

26-year-old Jamal Pogues returns to the Contender Series tonight after his 2019 decision win over Marcos Brigagao left him short of capturing a contract. Pogues will square off against the nine-fight win streak of Brazil’s Paulo Renato Jr. in the co-main event.

Staff Picks

Staff picks in 2022 will follow the same set of rules from the 2021 season. Throughout the calendar year, staff picks will be composed of main card fights from both UFC and Bellator events. Main card fights and selected preliminary fights will be included for PFL MMA. Dana White’s Contender Series will be composed of the entire fight card.

The WINNER of staff picks in 2022 will have a choice between receiving a custom-made championship belt from ProAmBelts or a chain from Championship Chains. A winner is determined simply by the individual correctly picking the most victorious fighters at the year’s end. Nate Freeman secured his first victory with MMASucka in 2021 with a compiled record 243-136.
