UK-based promotion Cage Warriors makes another trip across the pond tonight as Cage Warriors 143 goes down live from Humphrey’s by the Bay in San Diego, California.

In the lightweight main event, Combate and Bellator veteran Erick Sanchez returns after over a year-long layoff to face American Cage Warriors mainstay Jamey Lynch. The Team Alpha Male-trained Sanchez has lost three of his last five, although two of his losses have come against upcoming Bellator title challenger Adam Borics and current UFC fighter Julian Erosa. He defeated Jordan Beltran via second-round submission in his last fight with Combate Global. Lynch, meanwhile, has competed in four of Cage Warriors’s five American shows, garnering a 3-1 record and gradually moving his way up the card into tonight’s main event spot.

The co-main event comes at light heavyweight, as WSOF veteran Trey Williams battles Elijah Harris. “The King” Williams has lost two of his last three, most recently falling to Chuck Campbell at Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat 4. Campbell also defeated “Mr. Samoa” Harris in his only professional loss at Cage Warriors 133. Harris has since rebounded to grab a first-round submission at Cage Warriors 139.

Also on the card are Bellator veterans JJ Ambrose and John De Jesus, as well as prospects Chasen Blair and Damon Wilson.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with Cage Warriors 143 results, with the action kicking off at 9:15pm ET/6:15pm PT on UFC Fight Pass.
